We are a global circle of Lensbaby photographers who enjoy using all different types of Lensbaby in our work. Once a month we head out for a walk and blog about it, linking to each other so that we can continue in a loop until the circle is completed. I hope you enjoy reading about my walk this month. I use a Nikon D90 & D7100 with my Lensbaby Twist 60 with a composer.
It felt strange to have snow this late in the season, combined with the fact that the blossom was desperately trying to keep up with its seasonal timetable made it feel very odd indeed! However the powdered scattering either side of the path seemed to compliment the bloosom on the tree above.
This is about the second time that I have shot a landscape with my Lensbaby Twist 60. I quite enjoy coming out of my comfort zone and it is good practice for me, as I think I have a sweet spot only to return home to edit and realise I was way off!
I loved the palette of tones and colours in this lower section of my woodland walk
I really enjoyed editing this series of images as the slight background blur makes me feel like its been washed with subtle tones as the gorgeous crisp russet leaves hang above.
As I headed back, I was struck by the dark floor in the lower woodland section and how the sunlight filtered through creating a lovely strong line of tree shadows. Follow our wonderful circle by visiting Katrin’s beautiful underwater image. You can find Katrin here https://www.katrinbechhold.net
